Sol Pilates was built on the belief that Strength is not a look. It's a feeling — in your spine when you stand tall, in your core when you hold steady, in your legs when they carry you further than you thought they could.

The Problem We Saw \

Three women participating in a fitness class involving a yoga wheel. One woman kneels on the floor, the second is teaching and assisting, and the third is in a kneeling pose with a yoga wheel.

Too many women walk into fitness spaces and feel:

• Intimidated
• Overlooked
• Unsure of what they’re doing
• Stuck in workouts that don’t deliver results

We saw rushed classes. Poor form. No progression. No real guidance.

A group of women in coordinated blue workout outfits and white socks are performing a group yoga pose on a white floor against a plain background, lying on their backs with their legs extended up and intertwined.

And we knew there had to be a better way.

We started from the belief that both was always the answer.

Sol Pilates wasn't born from a business plan. It was born from a torn labrum, a long recovery, and the moment Pilates and strength training finally worked together to bring a body — and a life — back.

What Makes sol Different?

• Deep transverse core activation (the muscles that truly sculpt your waist)
• Progressive overload to ensure continuous results
• Low-impact, joint-friendly programming
• Highly trained coaches - not just a weekend certification
• Structured class formats that build strength week after week

The Stronger Together Method is what happens when Pilates principles and strength training stop competing and start working together. Pilates brings the control, the breath, the precision, and the deep core foundation. Strength training brings the load, the resistance, and the muscle-building stimulus.

Certified Pilates Instructor. Movement Enthusiast.

For over 20 years, I was the person who never skipped the gym. I was a triathlete. I ran distance. I trained Brazilian jiu jitsu. Strength training was just part of who I was — something I showed up for every day without question.

And then, slowly, my back started hurting. Then more than my back. Getting out of a chair became something I had to think about. It turned out I had a torn labrum in my hip. I went from lifting heavy and running miles to barely being able to walk one.

Surgery. Physical therapy. Acupuncture. I tried everything. And then I tried Pilates.

It was the missing piece. Not because Pilates replaced strength training — but because the two together did something neither could do alone. The control, the breath work, the deep core activation that Pilates gave me made my strength training smarter and safer. And the load and resistance I'd always trained with gave my Pilates practice real power. Together, I got my body back. That’s why I created this place. Strength and Pilates, Stronger Together.

  • “I started coming to classes last fall, and I absolutely love it. I hadn't taken reformer classes before, so the small class size was a big selling point for me. The small classes are fun, peaceful, and you're never forgotten about like in a bigger class. I did the beginner package that included a private and that really helped me not feel nervous in class. I can't recommend Sol enough.”

  • “This studio offers so much. I had never tried Pilates before and was met with so much encouragement. Sol has a great blend of instructors, class times, and class types - there’s something here for everyone’s skill set, availability, level of difficulty, and personality type. They also only have 8 beds, so you really get a lot of useful corrections.”
